The second beta version of the upcoming FieldWorks 7 has been released for Windows users. A new patch is available to enable you to upgrade from Beta 1 to beta 2 with a much smaller download.
Please let us know about the bugs you find. Please tell us if you find a repeatable crashing bug, a feature which is broken in some way compared to earlier versions, if you encounter an installation problem, or you experience data loss. In particular, if you try the new patch and experience a problem, be sure to let us know! Thank you!

A new review of FieldWorks review has just been published by the Language Documentation and Conservation journal.
In the next version of FieldWorks, it is much easier to drag senses to a different entry and an example to a different sense in FLEx. You no longer need to have an existing set of example fields in the target sense when moving an example, just drag and drop!
The May test release of FieldWorks 7.0 has been delayed. We’re likely to release this alpha version in mid of late July now. Sorry!
